Glasgow is MUCH better for shopping.

Glasgow is the UK’s second top shipping destinations and the worlds 7th top shopping destination.

Edinburgh isnt even in the top 20 UK cities for shopping.

Glasgow is better in my opinion
and not just because i live here

i go to Edinburgh a lot, and vintage shops i love
the one in grassmarket in Edinburgh is a fav,
but in Glasgow, you only need to go to Dumbarton rd Byres rd and you are spolied for choice, and the prices are a lot cheaper

there are many many charity shops there(student land) and they have awesome vintage at £3-£5 an item, my 2 favourites for these are the 2 salvation army ones, both dumbarton rd and oxfam in Byres rd, its a bit hit miss though, sometimes i get loads, sometimes nothing, but thats the nature of shopping in these shops, but their stock is to cater to the huge student population there so its usually pretty good, then you take the tube to St enoch centre in town and go to Mr Ben across the car park from Argos

thats one great days shopping for me!!
    good luck and enjoy
