When is the best time to visit Spain?

she-girl asked:

I have always dream of visiting Spain.
So what’s the best season to visit the country?
And in what month does each season fall into?
I mean, for example when is spring in Spain?
Is it from march until may?

July 7th-14th best time. And go to Pamplona for the Bull run festival (where you go into a crowded street and get chased by fighting bulls after a good night getting plastered)

I like to go in Fall to Winter when there are fewer Tourists. Flights tend to be on the cheaper side as well. It makes for shorter lines. Madrid has particularly decent weather as well. Love Madrid! The seasons fall in line with those in the US. Spring would be March to May.

Spring is the same as it is everywhere else. If you mean in terms of springy weather…the same as the Northern Hemisphere.

Best time to visit, depends, actually, on if you want to see any specific festivals, but aside from the running of the bulls, I wouldn’t go in July at all. Of course, my favorite part of the country is the south, and you would just literally FRY during July and August!

I think the best time is in April. If you want to see Semana Santa, then the week between Palm Sunday and Easter.

There are fairs in every city at various times…the one in Sevilla (my old home) is in April…usually the second week.

If you want to see a bullfight, any time from April through October is good.

If you want to see fĂștbol, they play most of the year. They supposedly have seasons, but I haven’t really noticed any time that they DON’T play!

Again, summer time, because of the crowds, and the heat, can be pretty uncomfortable in AndalucĂa, which is where all the white towns, the flamenco, bullfighting, etc. are.

The seasons are Northern Hemisphere…so, the correspond to the seasons in France, England, Germany, and North America.

    Winter : December-February
    Summer: June-August
    Spring: March-May
    Autumn: Sept-November

Best time? Any time. But if you want to enjoy the beaches, summer
If you want less people,Autumn is very nice, and you can also go to the beach…

Hope you can make it soon

visit in july and august when its the most hottest and the two biggest fiestas are on, San Fermines-the running of the bulls in Pamplona and La Tomatina tomato fight in Bunol Valencia. Absolutely amazing!

spain is cheapest during winter, but it’s best to visit during september/october or late spring. the seasons are exactly the same as they are here, it’s just generally warmer abroad.
