OK people here we are to help try and get your problems solved for your holiday, the only thing is that this holiday is going to be helping you avoid all of those nasty things that can happen in Barbados. First thing to remember about Barbados is that it is the party capital of the Caribbean, so here is your first hint that you may need to be a little more careful than you normally would on holiday.
- First and most definitely foremost, and this doesn’t just apply to the young people of the world, stay well away from nay drugs. If you are caught with anything here that is even remotely Illegal you won’t be in for a fun time, not to mention that the drugs on offer here could be a lot more violent compared to some that you may have access to back at home.
- Try to make sure that you do not draw attention to yourself in any unnecessary manner, make sure that you do not disgruntle any of the locals as you may find yourself dealing with the police.
- Thirdly be careful what you drink, Barbados is a party capital, and there are a number of reports about drinks being spiked, so always keep your drink with you, if you leave it unattended for a period of time don’t be cheap, get yourself a fresh one, unless of course you have left it with a friend, in which case I would also be weary.
- Do your best to remember this one, whatever happens do not get in a mini van taxi, with a crazy Barbadian driver. These people will try anything that they possibly can to get you into their cars, even if it means blurting swear words at you. Trust me, I promise you that you will be risking your life jumping into one of these death traps, they cram these things with as many people as possible, and then speed all over the place. The police will be quick to place blame on everyone in the car, that means you, your family and the driver!
