Well, I’ve Never Been To London, But Would Love To Go.
Why Not Check Out The London Eye? :]
x
Well London is a great place for Tourists.
I would go to
1. London Eye
2. Harrods – Knightsbridge
3. Do a trip on the River thames – can go for dinner on a boat
4. Madame Tussards – Wax museum
5. Picadilly Circus Oxford circus
6. Westminster Abbey
7. Go see the Big ben and Parliament
8. London Dungeons
9. Take a walk through Leicester square – good bars and restaurants
10. Trafalgar square
I think those will keep you busy for a while. Have a look at
Enjoy!
Everything mentioned above. Plus…
A bus tour – a few companies do these and it’s a good way of seeing everything / choosing where to spend your time. I think you can combine a bus and boat tour and save money.
Museums – most are free. The Victoria Alvbert, National History Museum, Imperial War Museum and Science Museum are all worth a visit. A few are close together and you could probably do two in a day.
Aquarium.
Tower of London
Check out ‘two for one London’ to save a lot of money at some top attractions (if you google it you should find the site).
I hope this helps.
Tower of London (my favorite London tourist attraction)
Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery (art museum)
The Tower Bridge
Borough Market (southside of the river, great on Fridays)
Picadilly Circus
Shopping on Oxford Street
Tate Modern Art Museum
The London Eye
Big Ben
St. Pauls Cathedral
Westminster Abbey
Buckingham Palace
Imperial War Museum
Pub food
Borough market (outside London bridge station).
The clink – right next to borough market
The Tate modern which you can walk to from the clink along the thames.
Also there is the globe along down that way which might be interesting.
There is of course the london eye which you pass if you keep walking down past the Tate modern.
Oxford street in central london is brilliant for shopping and Bond streets not far away if you want to shop for designer.
My favourites are:
Tower of London (great guides – former soldiers living there)
Greenwich (how about going there from Westmister Pier by boat – the crew members will tell you about sites you pass by – and they’re really witty)
Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament and Big Ben
The National Gallery of Art and Trafalgar Square
Natural History Museum, Science Museum (can be fun for kids too),
Victoria Albert Museum (stunning cast gallery) and Harrods – they’re all in a walking distance
British Museum
Portobello Road
Camden Town
St Paul’s Cathedral
London Eye and Madame Tussand’s
Have fun
