Visit UK (London) when the visa is about to expire?

My visa expires on August the 26th 2008. I’m planning to visit my friend in london from the 7th till the 11th of August. Since I never went to the UK after I got this visa, am I gonna have any problems at the customs?

  Should be fine as long as you have a return ticket showing that you will leave before 26th. Immigration may ask why you got the visa then did not use it – as long as your reason is sensible, you’ll be allowed in.
