plan ahead,
many boarding places in france are smelly dumps!
shared bathrooms, and let just say their bathroom sharing, cleaning skills are not what you may be used to.
if you are a teenager be ready to be harrassed by a lot of old men in the city and public places.
driving is tough, so you may want to bring money for cabs.
learn a little french. some of the men can be quite rude if you don’t use their language.
