Museums and galleries around Hull

Hull is one of the top locations in the North of England for seafaring attractions. Much of what you see about the city has been influenced by the sea in one way or another. From boarding a submarine, experiencing the ‘fish pavement’, touring the Spurn Lighthouse and visiting no end of local museums, there is no end to the attractions you will find here that are to do with the sea.

Great museum finds include the Street Life and Transport Museum, Wilberforce House and the Ferens Art Gallery. Park up the Humberside Airport rental car and enjoy some amazing venues. These popular attractions will offer you an understanding of the historical nature of the area and how its history has been instrumental in today’s community and society. The Ferens Gallery is a top find in that it provides European Old Masters depicting life passing through the area in one way or another throughout the middle ages.
