Lanzarote in the Canary Islands has been a favoured vacation destination for over 4 decades, primarily due to its almost tropical climate, an abundance of quality beaches and relatively unspoilt scenery. There is also a good selection of apartments and studios in Lanzarote available for rent, with a large concentration the centre of Puerto del Carmen, the islands favourite and most established resort on the island. Apartment complexes provide all the equipment expected of self-catering accommodation, and most have their own shared pool and areas for sunbathing.
Another bonus is that the resorts beaches are only a very short walk away if you don’t fancy relaxing by the pool.
If you like a bit of activity on you holiday then you will not be disappointed either as there are plenty to do in Puerto del Carmen, with plenty to do including horse-riding and organised walks. all readily available to holidaymakers. And those who enjoy their nightlife are also well catered for, with a varied selection of restaurants and bars overlooking the sea or clustered around the town harbour.
The islands development has been clearly restrained to ensure that it doesn’t cease to offer an enjoyable vacation experience, whilst still maintaining its unique historical roots and culture.
