Is a visa necessary for a short trip to Australia on a British or South African passport?

    yes sweety

    No matter where u travel if u leaving the country you need a visa but normally the hotel you are staying in organizes it for you.

    Also ….the bit JUS 4 FUN said normally the hotel you are staying in organizes it for you is NOT TRUE!!! You need to get a visa from Immigration department.

    yes. defintaley you now need one for a British Passport, you can do it online, about £10 or £14.
