Hey people .. I am writing a travel story and need an interesting opening sentence/paragraph to grab the readers attention.
I am going to write about Portugal or Spain (not decided which) so advice and tips on writing travel stories will be appreciated a lot.
you could start with something like
Imagine yourself on a hot, sunny day, in a city bathed in oranges and reds, paintings and beautiful clothes are everywhere, the scents of homecooking and the sounds of thick accents are in the air, imagine your vacation to spain (or tweak it for portugal)
Its 6am and I’m sitting on a beach in Corfu
how about something like….
What an experience, that is the most daring thing i have done in my life…
just to get their attention, then go on about something you did there like bungee jump or waterfall walking…
then its time to describe the scene…
As well as the breathtaking views of the spanish watercaves, i have mixed emotions, maybe its just the joy of being surrounded by all this…etc..
In Ireland there is some really nice place to visit, temple bar and dram street, they is some off the best night clubs there as well check them out if your in to night clubs,Weekend Dublin
