A visa is normally for the entry within 60 days valid.
You need a visa for the reentry, in order to be able to enter Italy again. That must be issued by local police headquarters, before you leave Italy.
Which documents are necessary for a visa for a request, depends on the purpose of your stay in Italy. All applicants need the following: a document of Identification, which is at least three months longer valid than requested visa with an empty side for the visa sticker; a multiplicity of black-and-white passport photo on white background. Depending upon purpose of the stay, you need: Proof of the domicile of the homeland of the applicant; Proofs or travel documents with your name and the accurate data of your entry and departure to Italy. Proof of financial means. Medical insurance card, if you are not insured over your employer over the Italian health system. Employees need a work permit, which is issued by the Italian labour office. Students need a permission proof of a recognized institution for education. Non–European Union citizens, who either with an Italian or with a foreigner, who is married lives in Italy, need a Marriage License. Many of the documents specified above must be translated into Italian. Proof of financial means: Proofs over financial means or support can be explanations of banks, letters of banks, which confirm regular money transfers from the foreign country or letters of relatives or friends, who assure regular support. The letters should be notarial recorded. Work permit: A non-European Union citizen, who would like to work in Italy, needs a work permit, those by the local labour office (Ispettorato Provinciale del Lavoro). This work permit must be permitted however again at local police headquarters. The document must receive your future employer in Italy and you have to send it with the other documents to your Italian consulate of your homeland to submit. However that it can become for non–European Union citizens a highly bureaucratic and time-consuming process, a work permission to receive. It can last up to one year or even still longer, and it plays also no role whether you work in your homeland at an Italian company or live in Italy.
So actually your re-entry depends on your purpose to go to Italy to begin with. Good luck.
