    Hi

Best option is to go for a day trip on the Eurostar train as you will be there in just over 2 hours, much quicker than a ferry or flying as you can check in just before departure.

Also good price and comfort and you can jump on the metro when you arrive in Paris, you could even stay a night in a hotel or have a weekend break.

    Hi,
It would take you about 2 hours by Eurostar. It’s easy, comfortable and you get to Gare du Nord which is right in the centre of Paris. You can definitely do this in a day (how long does it take you to commute from work to home in London!?). Enjoy!

We took a day trip from London to Paris and were able to see quite a bit that day. We took the Eurostar train out of Waterloo early in the morning. Takes about 2 hours and 20 minutes or so and it was a pleasant, relaxing ride. Spent the whole day there and got back to London late that night about 10 or 11pm. We went to the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and had time to eat and shop. Enjoy!

to get to PAris by train (Eurostar) it takes a little more than 2 hours. However, if you fly, it’s only like a 1 hour flight. When I went, it was much cheaper to fly than to take the Eurostar. However, 1 day will probably not be enough for PAris. You should consider at least 2-3 days. There is LOTS to see and the Louvre by itself will take up the better half of a day. Then of course there’s the Eiffel tower, and many other museums etc. I’d consider at least 2, but more like 3 days for it.
