How could a tourist travel from Edinburgh to Glastonbury Tor?
Specifically, how would one make the trip without driving a car (since my hubby and I are from the US and refuse to take up the wheel on the opposite side of the road)? Is there a train that makes that trip? How long would it take?

driving a car with the wheel on the opposite side looks scary, but it really isn’t. It took a while to get used to, but it really isn’t hard.

Well, you can try, that would give you train details, although you may have to get a bus from the closest station to Glastonbury to Glastonbury, as i dont believe it is on the rail network. Trains are probably not direct. If you can, book in advance, its likely to be cheaper!
