Not at all, welcome to England, hope you have a good time.

Depends what you call a short time, most illegals think that 100 years is a short time. As far as I know people have no animosity to individuals, however it is the mass immigration due to Brussels that we object to and an inability to evict criminals from Europe that rather puts peoples backs up against immigrants.

Just as long as you work for your money and pay taxes stay as long as you like.

of course not if you are coming here t work you are more than welcome, the rumours you have heard are just the small minded very small minority of people

i would say the majority of people in our country are all for new people coming to the country – as long as they work :)

There are too many people who come here and (probably rightly) take advantage of some of the stupid government systems – that doesnt make you any friends fast!

    Good luck

Most English people are not xenophobic. Unfortunately, the few that are tend to be very loud. I have no problem with immigrants coming here.

i think the rumours you have heard come from narrow minded bigots that we would rather lived somewhere else, the majority of the English people welcome polish immigrants, what we object to is free loading immigrants from Europe including criminals who come here to abuse the social benefits systems that this government has made too easy to abuse by all including the English although i have yet to hear of the polish population doing this,in fact the poles already here are good, hard, workers who get on with the job and do it better then some us so as far as I’m concerned, welcome my friend and i do hope you find what your looking for,i would also add that this country has more then enough polish war graves that should serve to remind the ill informed bigots of the UK that our polish allies showed great courage during WW 2 and gave their lives not only to free Poland but England as well, good luck to you.

HA HA HA AH AH AH AH HA

I’m not laughing at you, but at the irony of it….The English certainly weren’t asking this when they overstayed their welcome in other people’s lands…especially mine – Bharat, wherefrom they stole even the language, the books and the jewels – leaving behind an impoverished nation.

    But we’re still around…Jai Bhagavan.

Interesting to see what responses you’ll get, though

Not in the least, as long as you are prepared to work and pay your taxes. I live in King`s Lynn and quite frankly the influx of Eastern Europeans has raised the tone of the area. Feel free to mail me.

  • Mr Sceptic

Get a job, work hard, pay your taxes, improve your English, and you’ll find that you’re welcomed by 99% of the British people.

I just want to say, especially in response to some of the other posters, people who object to mass immigaration are not racist, nor are they bigots.

I have no objection to people coming here to make a better life for themselves as long as they respect local customs and laws, speak the language, and work. That is not a problem.

What I do have a problem with is a massive ammount of immigrants (not even including asylum seekers or illegals) do not do any of these.

What I object to is foriegners coming here and being given massive benefits, free health care/schooling/houses etc when I have had to work damn hard in my own country and can’t earn half of what some of them are getting.

    Why is that fair?

Why is it bigoted and ****** to not be against immigration or other country’s people coming here, but believing that we should put our own people first? Answer that for me.
