nope. If your passport is US (or any of a number of other countries) your visa, up to 3 months, is INCLUDED in the stamp you get when you go through customs (in the passport). Even if they don’t stamp it, you’re good.
OVER 3 months, or if you plan to work, you’ll need a proper visa.
I have a US passport but live in Norway and I have traveled to Spain many times..Never have an issue entering there
