chivasdy_luvr asked: Hi, I’m a student studying abroad this semester in Paris. I am on a ridiculously tight budget and won’t be able to spend alot of money on anything other than the necessities. i *do* however want to visit Italy (and England too maybe/hopefully) for a weekend, I don’t have classes Friday so I would probably leave then or Thursday and come back Sunday. How much would the trip cost including getting there, hostels, etc.? Thanks!

For England and France, what months would likely have the least amount of tourism?

MEL asked: I will be going to Paris for 2 days and London for 2 days, and I am very overwhelmed by the amount of things to do and see in each place. I may never get to go back, so I would somehow like to narrow everything down the best and most unforgettable things to see.

Logan N asked: I was wondering if I should exchange my money here in the U.S. or should I wait to exchange it at the airport in London? I am also going to be traveling to Ireland. Should I just take out money when I am there? This is my first time traveling internationally so any advice would help.

Leo asked: I am planning to apply for an Internship in Europe.I plan to stay at least for an Year there.
Now I want a realistic Cost of living calculation for various cities in Europe. My standard of living would be may be live in a Single room flat with decent facilities+Commute(travel)+Food+Utilities.
Travel around on weekends(mostly by cheap modes of transport nothing flashy ..
I dont party much but definitely would like to try some fun stuff on weekends…
I tried various Cost-of living comparison websites but found no satisfactory comparison. The BigMac Index or PPP(Price Power Parity Index) is also of not much help!!!
Help me O’ Saint Yahooo!!!

Alan B asked: Im looking at living in the UK on a working holiday Visa for two years, id love to do quiet alot of sight seeing while there. Being an Australian im not close to europe, so i’d be interested in seeing alot of the continent.
I’ve had a look at the eurostar but the prices are still kinda steep. Other than booking easyjet months in advance what are cheap ways to get around europe?

Mike Merc asked: My roommate and I are going to Europe for 18 days. Right now we are spending 3 Days in Dublin, 2 Days in Edinburgh, and 4 Days in London.
The rest of the trip is planned, but we have one extra day that we can add to one of the 3 cities above. Which city would you add it to and why?

It’s a trap asked: In may I am going on a two week trip to europe. It is part of a tour where hotels, breakfast and dinner are already paid for.
I will be in each city for about two or three days
Paris
Amsterdam
Berlin
Prague
Rome
I hope to bring back some kind of souvenir from each city for myself, friends, and family. I also want to go to various restaurants and pubs. I also want to definitely check out some of the night clubs in amsterdam and prague. Based on this, how much spending money do you think roughly I will need?

puppypaisley asked: Hey guys…I am thinking about a Europe trip with my boyfriend as a law school graduation gift! However, I have only briefly been abroad once, and my boyfriend never, so I was wondering if you could help us out….
1. Where should we go? I know that we want to do Spain, Italy and Greece–and Venice and San Torini are a must within these countries. What other cities/countries should we visit? In what order? Is three weeks enough time to do this?
2. What city should we fly into from the US? Should we fly out of a different city? How far in advance should I order our tickets to get the best price? Is a travel agent helpful?
3. Which mode of transportation should we use traveling between cities?
4. We were thinking of going late Feb or early March, is this a good time?
5. How do we find nice, but affordable places to stay? Should I do this in advance or wing it when we get there?
6. Any good planning websites or books?
7. Any other tips?
Thanks so much for your help!

Alex S asked: I’m planning on doing a tour of Europe to celebrate finishing school in 2010. The plan is to tour for 3 months during the summer months, but spend as little money as possible. We’d like to visit probably 6 countries, and I was just wondering what was could do to make it the most enjoyable, but cost effective time ever. Also, how much (in $AUD) would be a reasonable estimate for a trip like this?

katwing asked: There are 4 of us (2 couples) looking to go away from 23rd to 27th December 2008. We want somewhere that has lots to do, maybe organised things such as Christmas eve dinners and boxing day brunches. Christmas Lunch included would be great. Something really chtristmassy and traditional really but fed up of being at home! We’re happy with UK or Europe but budget is about £350 per person. Been looking at copenhagen and vienna but city breaks on the usual websites are really uninformative!
Thanks in advance
