We are travelling on the sleeper train from Stirling to London (return) first class and I’m wondering what’s on board with regard to a bar and food. Since it leaves at midnight, I’m not sure about alcohol restrictions, but we would like to have a late night together and enjoy the trip. Has anyone done this and do you have any tips? Thanks!
I’m not concerned about being searched. Has anyone actually taken the sleeper train? Can you tell me anything about the trip? (i.e. tips, etc.?)

A group of lads swigging lager, shouting and running up and down the corridors will be asked to shut-up and possibly be put off the train (only seen it happen once). However a group of people sitting chatting and having a civilised drink in their berth are unlikely to attract any attention. In one case the steward joined me for a small whisky
