Can my parents on visitor visa in US apply for a uk visitor visa from US to visit their daughter in UK?

My parents are in US on a visitor visa. They plan to go back in May 2008 to India. As my sister is a permanant resident in UK, my parents want to visit her on their return journey from US. Is it possible for them to apply for a visitor visa of UK from the US.?

    Call their countries representative in this country on the telephone

    Yes I think so. I think it’s just their nationality that counts, not other foreign visas. UK visas say:
    Yes, you need a visa.
    If you are in United States, please make your application to Chicago, Los Angeles, or New York.
    Hope that helps.

    Yes, they may apply for a visa to the U.K. while they are here in the U.S. See webpage below. They can follow the directions on this page to do the visa application on line.
