That depends on what you’re interested in. Get yourself to Grande Place and wander. And no, don’t bring me back a snowstorm of the Mannekin Pis.

In Brussels… Make sure to visit the famous ****** Boy (A fountain of a small boy who is urinating) The town dresses him up for different occasions. You can buy lighters and little ****** figurines… something unique not to miss. The town square was beautiful and a great experience. I haven’t visited in about 5 years so actual names of hotel and restaurants are a bit blurry. I do remember having a wonderful time at an outdoor cafe where we drank GIGANTIC draft beers. It was a great nighttime atmosphere, very upbeat and lively. Also be sure to sample some local Belgium waffles (So many toppings to choose from… chocolate, nuts, fruits, caramel…) and try Belgium chocolate. We did have one negative experience… When we got off the train we began walking and somehow ended up in a very scary part of town. I was the only woman in our group of 4 and I felt extremely uncomfortable in that area of town. Lets just say being a blonde American woman made me stand out like a sore thumb. Other than a little scare… Brussels was a wonderful experience!!!

Just relax and dont mention that america is the best country on earth. If you are at a hotel in Paris you might want to secure your things in your room because there might be robbers.
